Four publications, one Tuesday each. The same intelligence arrives at the same time every month, whether or not anything dramatic happened. Dates are published a quarter ahead and they hold.
A single monthly publication asks a reader to remember it for four weeks. A cadence asks them to expect it.
Each month opens with a position and closes with what changed. The briefing takes the argument, the signals test it against the month's developments, the case study shows the same pattern in a decision already made, and the radar states what becomes binding next.
The month's argument. Three decisions requiring board attention, five emerging risks, the regulatory clock, one incident analysed, and a one-page decision dashboard to carry into the room.
Five developments that move a board priority. Each states what happened, why it changes a priority, and the question to put to management. Plus what moved on the dashboard, and what did not.
One decision, examined at the moment it was made. What was knowable then, what alternatives were open, what the record shows it cost, and the rule a reader can apply to their own register.
The month's regulatory and supervisory movement, filtered to what changes an obligation, a date, or an expectation. Everything else is left out.
The quarterly edition takes the Week 1 slot in March, June, September and December. Longer at 15 to 20 pages, and the only edition carrying benchmark cohort data, which needs a quarter to accumulate. It is the artefact a subscriber forwards to a chair.
A stated schedule is the cheapest credibility signal available and the first thing a prospective reader checks. These dates hold. A quiet month is published as a quiet month.
